Our story

Welcome to OT Assessed! I’m so glad you’re here. I founded OTA in 2025 with a simple goal of making high-quality OT assessments accessible to everyone, no matter where they live.

My journey started in the UK, where I graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy with First-Class Honours. I began my career in private practice, developing the OT department in a nursing facility, supporting individuals with mental illness, physical disabilities, and challenging behaviours. My focus was on maximising independence, increasing engagement in Activities of Daily Living, and improving quality of life. I then moved into the NHS, working in community rehabilitation with adults in their homes and care facilities. This role was centred on preventing hospital admissions, ensuring timely discharges, and supporting people to live safely at home for as long as possible.

After relocating to Australia, I transitioned into the NDIS space. I gained extensive experience in ongoing therapy, functional assessments, housing, assistive technology, and home modifications. Over time, I recognised a critical gap - people were waiting too long for quality OT assessments to support their NDIS plan. This realisation led me to specialise in assessments and reporting and to take the leap into starting my own business to provide this need.

OT Assessed was founded with a commitment to accessibility. To deliver thorough, high-quality OT functional assessments via telehealth, nationwide, with no waitlists or barriers, including assessments for FCA, ILO, SIL and STR

I’m passionate about connecting with Participants, understanding their needs holistically, and providing clear, detailed reports and telehealth OT therapy that accurately outline functional capacity and support requirements.

Every OT Assessed report is backed by evidence and strong funding recommendations under the Reasonable & Necessary criteria, advocating for Participants to receive the support they need and deserve.

I can’t wait to connect with you and be apart of your journey towards independence, belonging, and a better quality of life.
